Metering
Each modality has a fixed credit cost per provider, deducted up front — no surprise overage after the fact.
An estimate is held before the call and released in full if the provider errors. You pay only for completed work.
API and Studio draw from the same pool — no double subscription, no credits stranded on one side.
Top-ups
Top-up credits never expire and are consumed only after the monthly allocation is exhausted, so nothing is wasted.

| Is there a free tier? | No. Every account is on a paid plan — it keeps the service clear of abuse and means your rate limits are not competing with throwaway accounts. |
| Do I need a separate API plan? | No. One subscription covers both surfaces. Generate a key from the dashboard and start calling. |
| What happens when credits run out? | Requests return 402 before reaching the provider. You cannot go negative or receive a surprise invoice. |
